The Kaushal Bodh students of Grades VI to VIII at Darshan Academy, Hisar, actively participated in a hands-on learning activity to understand the importance of a compost pit under the guidance of Ms. Ritu Verma, In-charge, Eco Club. Students learned how biodegradable waste such as dry leaves, fruit peels, and vegetable scraps can be transformed into nutrient-rich compost. The activity encouraged environmental responsibility, waste segregation, and sustainable living while developing practical life skills. It also inspired students to become eco-conscious citizens by reducing waste and caring for nature. The session beautifully reflected the values of “Learning by Doing” and “Every Small Step Creates a Greener Tomorrow.”
