To strengthen subject knowledge and pedagogical competencies, a two-day CBSE Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on Physics was organised by Blooming Dales School, Hisar, on August 22–23, 2026, with Mr. Kamal Singh, PGT Physics, at Darshan Academy, Hisar, among the 60 participating teachers. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Dinesh Mehta (TDBSSS) and Mr. Parveen Deswal (Takshila International School, Jind).
The programme focused on competency-based and experiential learning, innovative pedagogy, HOTS, real-life applications, effective questioning, experiments and competency-based assessment. The interactive sessions offered practical strategies to make Physics teaching more engaging, student-centered and application-oriented.
Overall, the CBP was an enriching professional learning experience, equipping Mr. Kamal Singh with valuable strategies to enhance students’ conceptual understanding, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
