Raksha Bandhan celebrates the love and bond between brothers and sisters. The tradition of tying a holy thread, rakhi, around the wrist of brothers by their sisters symbolizes Raksha (protection). On August 10, 2022, a rakhi-making competition was organized at Darshan Academy, Hisar. In this creative and innovative competition, all the students of classes I to VIII displayed numerous beautiful handmade rakhis using tiny mirrors, cotton balls, stickers, etc. The rakhis made by the participants were creative and portrayed the artistic perspective of the students.
