“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
Darshan Academy, Hisar, celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great enthusiasm to honour the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The celebration helped students understand the philosophy and teachings of Gandhi Ji, who believed in truth, nonviolence, peace and simplicity.
Through meaningful discussions and activities, students learnt how Gandhi Ji’s values can be followed in everyday life. They were encouraged to speak the truth, respect others and spread peace and kindness in society.
A Cleanliness Drive was also organised to promote the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. Students actively participated in the drive and learnt that keeping our surroundings clean is everyone’s responsibility. The activity reflected Gandhi Ji’s belief in cleanliness and self-discipline.
The celebration inspired students to follow Gandhi Ji’s ideals and become responsible citizens who contribute to a cleaner, peaceful and better society.
