Diwali, The Festival of Lights, came alive at Darshan Academy, Hisar, on November 10, 2023. The day was marked by a special assembly where the adorable students of primary classes delivered speeches on the significance of the festival and the relevance of eco-friendly Diwali. The tiny tots of pre-primary classes presented a delightful skit on Diwali, highlighting the victory of good over evil, adding much exuberance and bringing great joy to the audience. On this special occasion, the charming students of classes I and II visited the Old Age Home and had an emotional touch during their meeting with the residents. They distributed sweets and other eatables and wished them well by giving hand-made beautiful greeting cards as a token of love. Various activities such as rangoli making, candle and diya decorations, card making, and a mehndi contest were organised in the classes. The pious day concluded with the message of a green, clean and peaceful diwali.
