To sensitize the student community to the harmful effects of drug addiction, a Drug Abuse Awareness Program was held at Darshan Academy, Hisar. The focus of the program was to provide insight to the students about the seriousness of drug addiction. The event was attended by all the students, along with their teachers. Rahul Sharma addressed the students and discussed various aspects of drug abuse emphasizing prevention and how to seek professional help. The program was organized as a part of the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. This interactive program helped clarify students’ questions and at the end, the Darshanites pledged together to make their community, family, friends and themselves drug-free.
