Darshan Academy Hisar conducted a highly enriching and professionally rewarding One-Day Demo Lesson Workshop, designed to promote innovative pedagogical practices and strengthen collaborative learning among educators. The workshop served as an excellent platform for teachers to showcase their creativity, instructional strategies and learner-centred approaches.
The day commenced with a vibrant Group Naming Activity, where all participants were divided into six groups. Each group enthusiastically selected a unique and meaningful name that reflected its collective vision and identity. The groups further demonstrated leadership and teamwork by electing their respective leaders, fostering a spirit of responsibility, cooperation and mutual respect.
To create an atmosphere of enthusiasm and engagement, a lively One-Minute Ice-Breaker Activity was conducted. The activity instantly energized the participants, encouraged interaction and established a positive learning environment. This was followed by a serene Meditation Session that helped them attain focus and inner calm, setting the tone for a productive day of learning.
Teachers presented demo lessons on diverse topics with an innovative integration of experiential and activity-based learning strategies. Through role plays, brainstorming sessions, storytelling, QAXP activities, concentric circles, collaborative discussions, creative presentations and reflective exercises, every teacher transformed the classroom into a dynamic and engaging learning space.
Each presentation reflected meticulous planning, well-defined learning objectives, effective classroom management and a deep understanding of learner needs. The activities were thoughtfully designed to encourage critical thinking, participation, self-reflection and value-based learning. The enthusiasm, dedication and creativity displayed by every participant were truly commendable and contributed significantly to the success of the workshop.
The concluding session was marked by the insightful observations of our esteemed observers, Ms. Seema Batra and Ms. Neeru Tuteja. They appreciated the innovative methodologies, active participation and collaborative spirit demonstrated throughout the workshop.
Overall, the workshop proved to be a transformative, productive experience that celebrated the empowerment of learners.
