Every child has the right to grow up in a safe and secure environment, free from any form of abuse or neglect. To protect the children from offenses of sexual assault and sexual harassment with due regard for safeguarding the interest and well-being of children, Darshan Academy, Hisar, organised an awareness programme on POCSO and Child Rights for the Darshanites. The session was enlightened by the eminent personality Dr. Prabhu Dayal. In his speech, he threw light on safeguarding learners from the challenges they face in their formative years at school. The session aimed to create awareness about sexual exploitation and to ensure that all learners are aware of their rights and responsibilities towards themselves.
