Workshop on Stress Management through Meditation

A workshop on Stress Management was conducted on 9th December 2017 for Grade IX students at Darshan Academy Delhi. Facilitator, Ms Panesar started the workshop with the simple question “What is stress?” The multiple reasons that can cause stress were discussed along with their side effects such as headaches and loss of concentration. Ms Panesar explained how meditation plays an important role in reducing stress levels and also enhances academic performance. Students were deeply involved in the discourse and also in a question and answer session. They learned some useful tips how to cope with stress especially during exam time. The session concluded with some relevant tips, such as plan your 24 hours, organize your studies, avoid distractions, start from today and a beautiful thought, “Our Passion Is Our Strength”.
